Who am I?

 Hello, Reader!! My name is Priyesh Yadav. I am an engineering graduate (B.tech) from the SRM Institute of Science and Technology in Automobile Engineering currently pursuing MBA from BML Munjal University, a Hero Initiative. I have opted for a Dual major in Marketing and Strategic Management. My aim is to work as a consultant in the Big 3 of the consultancy world, Bain, BCG, and Mckinsey. 

Looking at my childhood, I can proudly say that I was an all-rounder involved in everything from academics to sports to cultural activities. I won several awards in several different fields such as academics, sports, dance, art, etc. In academics, I was a Scholar Badge holder, an award presented to the top few students in academics for each academic year. 

Post high school education, originally I wanted to pursue Law but ended up pursuing Automobile Engineering. During my time at SRM, I won awards in sports (volleyball) and got recognition for my work in event management (AARUSH, SRM's official technical fest). I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to work on my startup called Grandeur Electric. The startup was based on converting vehicles into electric vehicles via an electric convertor kit. After my internship in Ashok Leyland, due to a few developments in the automobile industry, I had to shut down my startup. 

After completing my under graduation, I got an offer letter from BYJUS to work as Business Development Associate (BDA), in Indore. Due to COVID-19, Just like the rest of the country I too was working remotely, from home. As a BDA, my role was to cold-call leads assigned to me by my manager. I had to schedule online sessions with potential customers and close the deal further increasing the overall sales of the company. I got to learn a lot during my short time at BYJUS. 

While working on my startup during undergrad I became a marketing enthusiast. I wanted to pursue MBA and after giving numerous exams, and college interviews, I chose to pursue MBA from BML Munjal University. 

As for my hobbies, I love PC building, MMA, music, gaming, and playing sports (football, volleyball, etc.). While pursuing MBA, I came to realize that I love public speaking, presentations, etc. I am lucky to have found good friends here at BML Munjal University. Along with marketing, Strategy has me hooked as I love to solve problems and to solve anything you need a strategy. 

This is basically me and how my life HAS BEEN SO FAR,  CURRENTLY IS, and HOW I WANT IT TO BE.
